Terms of Service

Version 1.0 · Last updated 2026-09-03

This is a working draft for testers. It describes the current FitChat product. It has not been legally reviewed and should not be treated as a final legal statement.

FitChat is a conversational wellness and accountability journal. You talk about your day in ordinary language. FitChat may use AI to understand that conversation and keep a personal journal for you.

The product

FitChat is for personal tracking of things such as food, recipes, activity, sleep, energy, feelings and general wellbeing. It is still an early product. Features may appear, move or disappear as it is shaped with testers.

Your account

You need an account to use the journal and chat. You are responsible for the email and password you use to sign in, and for what you choose to share. Creating an account does not, by itself, mean you have accepted these terms or consented to health and wellbeing processing. Those are separate choices on the welcome screen.

Do not use FitChat to harm anyone, break the law, or try to break the service.

Not medical advice

FitChat is not a doctor, therapist, medical professional or crisis service. It does not diagnose, treat or replace professional care. If you are unwell, or you think you might be, talk to a qualified person. Do not use FitChat in an emergency.

As-is

The service is provided as-is, without a warranty that it will always be available, accurate or suitable for a particular purpose. Food figures are rough estimates from conversation, not a nutrition label.

These terms

These terms may change as the product grows. The current version lives at this page. If a later version needs a new agreement, FitChat can ask you to accept it again. If you do not want to keep using FitChat, stop using it and ask for your account to be removed.
